Select Program Experiences
Over time, my work has focused on designing, implementing, and evaluating youth programs that center media education, storytelling, and civic engagement. These programs were developed in partnership with community organizations and adapted for diverse settings, with attention to trauma-informed practice, youth voice, and ongoing evaluation.

A community-driven program providing youth with tools to critically engage media and produce their own creative stories.

A campus-based summer program where youth in foster care collaborated with college students to produce creative videos, build mentorships, and lower barriers to higher education.
A 2-day conference that brought together community leaders to address media, equity, and social change through dialogue and collaboration.
An after-school media club for queer teens that combined critical media literacy, creative media production, and art therapy principles to foster expression and belonging.
Collaborative, community-based initiatives where students led campaigns on equity, safety, environment, and wellness.
A collaborative research and storytelling project that amplified refugee voices in North Texas while examining the networks and structures that support resettlement.
A collaboration between university students and the UNT DEI office to capture and share stories from campus events and initiatives.
